The user understands and fully agrees as follows:-

  1. ALL 'users' MUST wear a lifejacket.
  2. The boats and watercraft are hired at the user's own risk.
  3. Watercraft shall only be used in the allocated shaded area on the map in ‘Operating Information’ ONLY.
  4. Bribie Island Boat and Water Hire shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any personal property or injuries sustained by any person, however such loss, damage, or injury may have arisen or be caused.
  5. The person whose name is on the hire contract must stay with the boat or watercraft at all times and is responsible for the return and condition of all equipment.
  6. The ‘user’ and all participants are not under the influence of drugs and remain before the legal limit of 0.05 BAL at any time during the agreement.
  7. The ‘user’ takes full responsibility and accountability for their own, any participants and the safety of vessels and its equipment, and any additional liabilities that may be incurred at any time during the hire period.

A $50 deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits are returned at the owner’s discretion, and any breakages caused by misuse will result in forfeiture of the deposit. All hires must complete training and sign a contract acknowledging understanding of the product, conditions, and areas that are out of bounds.
